Last week’s voter registration at L.A.’s Naturalization Ceremony was great–emotional, fun, and very, very productive. Lots of registering. If you’re looking for a way to get comfortable with the process, there’s nothing better.
Thousands of new citizens pour out of the Convention Center in waves. Volunteers steer as many as possible to a long table of volunteers. New citizens become new voters. Joy and tears all around. And it happens every month.
